BLAN Hair Recharge

L-proline

L-proline is a non-essential amino acid that plays a vital role in collagen production, tissue regeneration, and cellular defense. The body can produce it, but in certain conditions, such as increased stress, inflammation, or hormonal imbalances, external supplementation may be beneficial.

Advantages:

  • Collagen production : L-proline is one of the most important building blocks of collagen. Collagen not only provides skin elasticity, but also maintains the health of joints, tendons and connective tissues.

  • Wound healing and regeneration : involved in tissue repair, especially after injuries or surgeries.

  • Skin health : supports the structural integrity of the skin, thus contributing to a youthful, firm skin appearance.

  • Antioxidant effect : protects cells from oxidative damage, especially by helping the body respond to stress.

L-proline and hair loss

  • It participates in the formation of the protein structure (collagen and keratin) that makes up hair fibers.

  • It supports blood supply to hair follicles and scalp regeneration.

  • It helps reduce hair thinning and loss, especially in cases of hair problems caused by stress or nutritional deficiencies.

L-Proline and Thyroid Problems: Thyroid problems, especially hypothyroidism, often result in weakening of connective tissues, skin, and muscles. L-Proline supports the repair of these tissues.

  • It helps regenerate cells and tissues, which can be slowed down by reduced levels of thyroid hormones.

  • With its antioxidant effect, it protects cells from oxidative stress, which can be particularly common in autoimmune thyroid diseases (e.g. Hashimoto's).

  • It can indirectly contribute to better well-being, improve skin elasticity, and reduce muscle fatigue.

Natural sources : gelatin, collagen-rich foods (bone broth), egg whites, meats, dairy products, soy, cabbage, asparagus, mushrooms.
